Very very good and delicious breakfast and extremely polite staff!!!
Outstanding food, excellent service and pleasant view of the garden. Magnificent, marvellous location in a lovely area. Near to Bowburn Hall for Sunday Lunch as well as the city centre and an ideal location for Big Meeting being on the right side of the city.

Wide range of breakfast options, including toast and jam. Super friendly staff offering wake up service and complimentary ironing. - Marvelous location in beautiful gardens with views overlooking the gardens. - Conveniently located next to Durham, perfect for the Big Meeting due to its proximity to the city and airport.

Room 10 needs more privacy ie. on suite door is glass if used by 2 people. Also morre information should be available in rooms eg breakfast information & meal menues

the room was comfortable and spacious, easy to find from A1, staff friendly and helpfull.
bathroom could do with minor refurbishment to bring upto standard.

Had a really good stay for one night. Stayed in a romantic executive double room with a good selection of toiletries. - the location of the hotel was central, very close to high-quality establishments. - Enjoyed exploring Durham on day two. - the restaurant served a delicious 4 pm starter.

We found the Hotel was situated very conveniently for visiting Durham City and the surrounding area's
Lack of a Lift, at my age (73) I found it quite a hike up those stairs carrying my luggage. Glass door on the bathroom not very private.

The employees were absolutely amazing all the time. the service offered was exceptional. - Its location was great and stunning, so close to the restaurant, beer garden and food, centre of Durham and the garden.
